Cremation Association of North
America (CANA) is an international organization of
over 1,500 members, composed of cremationists, funeral directors,
funeral home operators and owners, cemeterians, industry suppliers
and consultants. CANA was founded in 1913 and supports its members
in providing service to those seeking cremation as a death care
alternative.
CANA does not promote cremation, but instead works to ensure
that those who choose cremation are treated respectfully under
industry standards of practice and guidelines.

The International Cemetery, Cremation and
Funeral Association (ICCFA) represents all segments of
the cemetery, funeral service, cremation and memorialization
profession. It's composed of more than 7,500 cemeteries, funeral
homes, crematories, memorial designers and related businesses
worldwide.
The ICCFA promotes consumer choices, pre-arrangement and open
competition. The association also assists consumers more directly
through information resources and a directory of member
providers as well as through a complaint mediation
service.

Association (NFDA) is the world's largest funeral
service association, serving 18,500 individual members who
represent nearly 10,000 funeral homes in the United States and 43
